Anna comes to this work with more than twenty years of experience raising and driving resources towards candidates, campaigns, nonprofits and grassroots organizations that work towards a more progressive south. Leveraging fundraising as a tool for social change, Anna has spent her career working to amplify marginalized voices, and to foster equitable opportunities for all Georgians. As the former Executive Director of Georgia’s WIN List, Anna helped to raise and direct millions of dollars towards progressive female candidates running for office in the south. She is the co-creator of “Georgia WIN Leadership Academy”, an annual program that recruits and trains hundreds of women to be civically engaged and to eventually run for political office.

Most recently Anna served as the Development Director for Georgia Alliance for Progress-a donor collaborative working to build and sustain progressive infrastructure in the south through political and tax-deductible funding. Anna was instrumental in helping to raise more than $42 million dollars in 2020 to elect President Joe Biden and Senators Warnock and Ossoff and another $29 million dollars in 2022 to re-elect Senator Warnock for a full term. Additionally, Anna implemented a membership program within the organization, managing a portfolio of more than sixty, five-figure annual donors across the country. In her five years serving as Development Director, she grew the membership program from twenty individuals within the state of Georgia, to sixty-two individuals and family foundations across the country.

Anna graduated with an honors degree in English from the George Washington University and earned her M.P.H. in health equity and policy from Georgia State University. She is a proud alumni of LEAD Atlanta, has served as a writing mentor with The Wren’s Nest, a volunteer soccer coach and a fundraising and campaign trainer for Democracy for America. Anna is a seasoned fundraiser, social justice advocate and political junkie devoted to changing her beloved south, one progressive electoral or policy win at a time. She lives in the city of Decatur with her husband, three children and two dogs.
